Rest in peace, Mama Indenge 🕊️

Afrikana is much more than just a restaurant.

It’s a story that began more than 30 years ago, with the very first “Africana” restaurant opened by our grandparents.

Through her many dishes, Mama Indenge — or Mamy, as those close to her called her — passed on much more than recipes: she shared love, generosity, and a true sense of identity.

This great lady sadly left us recently. She leaves behind a respected name, but above all, a precious legacy.

From now on, our mission will be to keep this legacy shining for as long as possible, in her memory.
